This website was created, and is maintained, by the SFU Employees’ Joint Pension Committee (EJPC).  Its purpose is to help the members of the Simon Fraser University Pension Plan for Administrative/Union Staff understand their pension plan and issues surrounding that plan.

Membership in this pension plan is shared by three employee groups at Simon Fraser University; APSA, CUPE 3338 and the Poly Party.  In order to effect any change to the pension plan those three groups, along with the University administration, must unanimously agree to the changes proposed.  To help coordinate negotiations with the University, a committee was struck consisting of representatives from each of the three groups.  This committee is called the Employees’ Joint Pension Committee.  As representatives of the plan members, the EJPC deems it important to ensure that unified, consistent and balanced information be provided to those members.
